The makers of 'Roy' (Bhushan Kumar released the first-look poster on August 1, 2013) was to release on June 20, 2014. But we hear that shooting has been postponed to March – May due to date issues with Ranbir Kapoor (he’s busy with director Anurag Kashyap’s 'Bombay Velvet' and also expected to start shooting for Anurag Basu’s 'Jagga Jasoos') and Jacqueline Fernandez (she’s busy with Sajid Nadiadwala’s 'Kick').

Now a major schedule of 'Roy' will kick off in March in South Africa. Although producer Bhushan Kumar and director Vikramjit Singh intend to complete the film in one go, it seems a tad impossible. Let’s wait and watch!
