As per reports, Shah Rukh Khan is going to play a bootlegger in Rahul Dholakia’s upcoming film 'Raees' that goes on the floors next September.

Dholakia revealed - “The film is set in the 1980s and loosely based on real-life incidents.”

Dholakia further revealed - “I have taken elements from here and there to add to his character from a cop who has passed away.”

Apparently, Dholakia has begun working on the look and styling. Dholakia intends to shoot the entire film in Gujarat. He revealed - “I plan to shoot the film extensively in old Ahmedabad and some parts of Saurashtra as I have spent a lot of time there.”

When asked if Shah Rukh’s character has grey shades, Dholakia jokingly said - “50 shades.”
