So finally the day is here for which millions of SRK fans were waiting for. As per latest collections available with our sources, “Don 2’ is finally highest grosser in overseas in 2011 and no. 2 in worldwide collections.

“Don 2” already became highest grosser in markets like North America, Fiji/Australia and Pakistan etc. Now after running in theaters for a month, it has broken the record of “Bodyguard” worldwide gross and only 10 crore short of 240 crore gross of “Ra.one”.

Now SRK has no. as well as no. 2 movie of 2011 and Salman is closely placed on no. 3 and 4 with “Bodyguard” and “Ready” respectively. This speaks volume about his popularity overseas and worldwide especially when his critics had panned both of his films in India.

Now Shahrukh is the only star to have 3 back to back 200 plus grosser in “MNIK”, “Ra.One” and “Don 2”. This also proves that no matter what critics write and say but public is the supreme judge. Folowing are the top grosser of 2011 –

“Ra.One” and “Don 2” both will be releasing in 40 plus overseas countries from next month and it will be interesting to see at what figures these films end their lifetime collections. As per trade experts, “Don 2” should cross at least 270 cr mark by the end of its run.
