Lifetime Business & Economics Of BADLAPUR
''Badlapur'' released with limited expectations as it had interesting pair of Varun Dhawan and Sriram Raghavan but then had adult tag too. But this film proved to be a surprise hit at box office as it managed to cross 50 cr nett despite such a niche appeal and dark content.
Film collected very good 23.50 cr nett plus over weekend and then it went on to collect 36 cr nett in week one which was too good. Film will collect 52 cr nett lifetime which is a terrific number. Film has distributor share of 24 cr and overseas too film had good business of 13 cr with share of 6 cr.
Film has 30 cr worldwide share and it will maximum earn 11 cr more from other ancillary rights. Film has total income around of 41 cr and that against the total cost of 25.50 cr. Film has earned profit of 15.50 cr and that is a big profit of 60% plus over investment. This is another hit for Varun Dhawan, his 4th hit in a row and he has no flop against his name.
