*Mumbai/Saurashtra territory was not sold so does not feature in the list
* These are minimum expected loss to distributors if film trend well and collects 15-20 cr nett in 2nd week and 60-65 cr lifetime.
Film is biggest non holiday A rated opener, film is biggest solo John opener at box office and more weirdly crafted punches thrown at audience in order to make the wrong impression. But truth is that film remained below average at box office and many distributors will struggle to even break even.
One needs to understand that distributor don''t put money in films to break even as that is also a bad result for them unless there is at least marginal profits. So next time there is a film success party, read between lines!
