All New Releases Dull, ANNABELLE And HAIDER Lead The Way

There is plethora of potential disasters which released today at box office. Couple of Hollywood films and half dozen Bollywood films are trying their luck at box office today.

Out of new Hindi releases, ''Tamanchey'' is the widest release and that is why despite most horrible numbers it might lead the day. ''Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami'' has 5% occupancy at multiplexes which is best of the lot. But even this film needs terrific turnaround.

''Jigariya'' is a non starter and will find it tough to score double digit figure in lakhs on day one. ''Spark'' is worst of all and has danger of scoring first day numbers in thousands. Few more insignificant films bombed at box office.

Hollywood release ''Annabelle'' was best of the lot as it is the prequel of super hit ''The Conjuring''. Film is leading all Bollywood releases in metros and will come out with good numbers.

''Haider'' might spring a surprise and is doing quite well in selected plexes but there is distinct drop all over. But ''Bang Bang'' has witnessed big drop and exhibitors might bleed this week with no good film in cinemas.

Film collected 7.33 cr nett which was best number for the film out of first four days. On Monday again film scored good numbers and was exceptional in metros. Film collected close to 5.03 cr nett which is a good number. Film was expected to hold well on Tuesday and that is what happened. Film dropped by only 28% which was good. Film collected 3.57 cr nett on Tuesday followed by solid 3.07 cr nett on Wednesday and 2.55 cr nett on Thursday.

Eight day total of film is 41 cr nett. Film can reach close to 55 cr nett and that will be huge total for the film. Good word of mouth is giving film push at box office and from here onwards even 60 cr nett lifetime looks certain.
