ANNABELLE Jumps On Day TwoLast year ''The Conjuring'' proved to be a sleeper hit at box office in Indian market with business of in excess of 11 cr nett. ''Annabelle'' is prequel to that super hit film and had its worldwide release on 3rd October but had one week delayed release in India due to biggies arrived on 2nd October in Indian market.
''Annabelle'' was released with 217 prints in around 300 cinemas. Film collected huge 1.70 cr nett on day one and that is way way better than all Bollywood releases this weekend. Actually it is more than the combined business of all Bollywood releases and going by the trend, few multiplexes have increased the shows from last evening itself.
Film witnessed a jump on Saturday and collected big 2.20 cr nett with 28% jump. Film has collected 3.90 cr nett in two days and now film is set for 6.50 cr nett over weekend. Now weekday business of the film is important and that can take film close to 10 -11 cr nett lifetime.
Film scored huge 37.5 million $ over weekend worldwide which was only notch lower than 41 million $ weekend of ''The Conjuring''. Below are the collections for the film -
