The news was BIG when it appeared in the media. Remember, a few years ago, Danny Boyle was to produce a Hindi film to be directed by Anurag Kashyap? Both Boyle and Kashyap had met Aamir Khan, who said he liked the concept but would agree to do the film only after he hears the entire script. Kashyap never went back to him and Khan got busy with other commitments.

Later, Kashyap decided to make the same film with Ranbir Kapoor and the film, 'Bombay Velvet', is almost complete. But there’s a twist in the tale! Kashyap had already announced the release date as Christmas 2014. And Khan, who’s just delivered a mega blockbuster in 'Dhoom: 3', has decided to postpone the release of his next film 'P.K.' being directed by Rajkumar Hirani. If sources close to Khan and Hirani are to be believed, this film will release during Christmas 2014.

Sameer Rao, CEO, Vinod Chopra Films said, “I am not aware of any change in the release date. Vinod (Vidhu Vinod Chopra) and Raju are currently editing the film and, as far as we all know, the film is right on track and will release on June 6.”
