Monday, 23rd December 04:30 PM IST There are high chances that Dilip Kumar might get to see his flick 'Aag Ka Dariya' very soon. Director SV Rajendra Singh Babu is the man to be credited for bringing the film to see the light of the day, after almost two decades. Asked about it, Babu commented - “I met Saira Banu (Dilip Kumar’s wife) on Saturday and told her that I have managed to get the negative of the film and want to release the film." Babu further added - "She was very happy and is ready to cooperate with us. She gives us lot of support to make this possible.” Babu happened to meet a distributor in Singapore who had the negative of the 1990 film. When asked why the film could not be released in 1990 itself, Babu commented - “The film was censored and ready to go but due to some legal issues, we failed to get a proper release. But since it was my baby even after the producer of the film passed away, I continued to search for the print luckily and I met a gentleman named Bajaj who let me have the negative.’’ | |||
