Director Farah Khan and theactors Deepika Padukone, Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and BomanIrani were spotted shooting for a song sequence for her upcoming film ‘HappyNew Year’. The actors were heard to be trained rigorously by the directorherself, for a month for the song.
It was reported that actors hadbeen working really hard for the song sequence of the movie, for which directorFarah Khan even booked a hall in a city studio. The rehearsals have been goingaround for a month for the song, in which the actors will be seen wearingbright neon clothing and vibrant pink shoes, which made some of the actorsuncomfortable. While Deepika Padukone’s pink dress was designed by the famedManish Malhotra, some of the clothes even had sequins to add dazzle to thevivid costumes. The particular song that the actors were training for, involveda lot of acrobatic moves which Farah wanted to looked polished on camera andtherefore did endless scores of rehearsals. Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, thesong video will be shot with more than 2000 dancers for over 10 days, on a hugeset in Kamalistan Studio.
The action-comedy drama film ‘HappyNew Year’ which is being directed by Farah Khan, will be hitting theatresscreens late 2014 under the banner of Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.The movie has an ensemble cast which includes Deepika Padukone and ShahrukhKhan in the leads with supporting roles by Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, SonuSood and Vivaan Shah.
