Saturday, 15th March, 1:59 PM IST Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar recentlyannounced that his next project is a romantic story set against the backdrop ofthe Indus Valley civilisation. (Remember the cities of Mohenjodaro and Harappa? That's the Indus Valley civilisation.) The director is now getting together a team of technicians to ensure that thefinal output is unbeatable.
If sources are to be believed, actorHrithik Roshan, who is currently shooting for ‘Bang Bang’, met with Gowarikerand had a long chat with him. Informs a source, “Gowarikar has finished thepre-production work now and has started casting actors for the film. HrithikRoshan recently met with him at a hotel in Delhi. They were seen chatting for afew hours; it was probably about his upcoming project.”
Ironically enough, a source close to thedirector informed that it was Gowarikar who flew down to Delhi to meet HrithikRoshan.
Anyway, another source informed that Germancinematographer Karl Walter Lindenlaub has been roped in to shoot the IndusValley civilisation (dating back to 2600 BC) for the flick. Karl has been the DOPfor a number of A-list Hollywood projects such as ‘Independence Day’, ‘TheChronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’, ‘Stargate’, ‘The Jackal’, and ‘TheHaunting’, to name a few. What’s more, buzz is that music maestro AR Rahmanwill compose the songs of the film. | |||
