Madhur Bhandarkar Says Priyanka Chopra Starrer MADAMJI Not Shelved

Monday, 20th July 2015, 4:59 PM IST Madhur Bhandarkar and Priyanka Chopra were all set to team up once again for the film ‘Madamji’ which was also being produced by the actress. However, there were reports that the film has been shelved. But, recently Madhur said that the movie has not been shelved and they will make it whenever they feel like. Talking about ‘Madamji’, Madhur said, "I and Priyanka have held deliberations over 'Madamji' earlier. The film is extremely close to me because of the kind of subject it is." Explaining why it got delayed, the director said, "But Priyanka got busy with 'Gangaajal 2' and her English serial 'Quantico'; so it wasn't possible. I was looking for a 60-day schedule for the film." There were reports that the film was shelved due to some issues between Madhur and Priyanka. But, Madhur denied the reports and said, "Priyanka is my family and my home. There is no bitterness among us like how you have portrayed," When he was asked about film being shelved, Madhur said, "Whenever we feel that we have to make this film, we will definitely make it. Even for Priyanka, 'Madamji' is very important as she loves the subject of the film and is very enthusiastic about it, just like I am. I've written the character (Madamji) keeping Priyanka in mind."
