Saturday, 25th June 2016, 03:00 PM IST Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ had hit the screens in India on June 17th. A few days ago, the movie was passed with around 100 cuts and an ‘A’ certificate in Pakistan. Owing to that, the makers of the film have decided not to release the film in the neighboring country. Director Abhishek Chaubey said, “It definitely means loss of revenue if the film is not released in Pakistan. But more than that… it would make no sense to release it with the said cuts. The film is intended to convey something and make a point.” The director jokingly said, “There is no scope to fight our case in Pakistan, so we decided not to release the film there.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’sfirst Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
