Tuesday, 21st Oct 2014, 1:27 PM IST Earlier, there were reports that Saif Ali Khan will be starring in the movie adaptation of Japanese novel ‘The Devotion Of Suspect X’, which will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. And now, it is said that Ajay Devgn has been roped in to star in the remake of Malayalam flick ‘Drishyam’, which is loosely based on the novel. A source said, "The makers were in talks with Akshay Kumar and Ajay. Both the actors had shown an interest in the investigative thriller which has done phenomenally well down South. Now, after several rounds of meetings, modalities are finally being worked out with Ajay as he's more suitable for the part." Ajay will be playing the role of a husband, who most of the time is in front of a television till he gets pulled into a complex cover-up act after his wife by mistake kills a man responsible for maligning their daughter. While Saif, in ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’, will be playing the role of a mathematics professor, who helps his beautiful neighbour after she kills her husband.
