Tuesday, 21st Oct 2014, 4:23 PM IST Salman Khan is producing the Hindi remake of the Marathi film ‘Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho’. He wanted Govinda to play a lead role in the film, but the veteran actor rejected his offer. Recently, he stated that he rejected the offer because he doesn’t want to do art films. Talking about it he said, “I didn’t like the subject of that film. It seemed an art film. I don’t do art films. Audiences have certain expectations from me as an actor. They expect to be transported into a make believe world in my cinema. Films rooted to real life are not for me. I believe in the Rajnikanth school of entertainment which has no bearing on real life. I like doing films where you can hit your enemy from a foot’s distance and still get him flying in the air.” Govinda will be next seen in two films ‘Happy Ending’ and ‘Kill Dil’.
