Last year, Ratan Jain of Venus Records & Tapes announced a sequel to his musical film 'Dhadkan', with the same director Dharmesh Darshan. The makers were scouting for new faces and, after that, there was no news about the film. Now we hear that Jain has decided not to go with Darshan and bring another director on board.

“The project will definitely take place but not with Dharmesh Darshan any more as he and the producer didn’t see eye-to-eye on the project. That’s why Venus has decided to look for a director from the new generation,” reveals the source.

The source adds that Darshan, apart from his fee, asked for a profit-sharing deal, which Jain turned down. We tried getting in touch with Ratan Jain but he remained unavailable for comment.
