Wednesday, 5th March, 5:36 PM IST LastSaturday, Vikram Singh, the director of Ranbir Kapoor-Jacqueline Fernandezstarrer film ‘Roy’, flew down to Sri Lanka for an ad hoc meeting with RK. Theactor was in the island country to shoot for Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’.Apart from discussions surrounding costumes and character nuances, the two alsospoke about RK’s availability for their film, given the fact that Jacqueline’sdates for ‘Roy’ are being affected by ‘Kick’.
A sourcerevealed, "Ranbir has to shoot for around 20 days for ‘Roy’. He hadallotted the dates to Vikram, and they were in sync with Jacqueline's. ButKick's schedule has gone haywire and is now eating into these dates. Thatcreated some amount of panic since it's not easy getting RK's dates."
Hence,Vikram had a closed-door meeting with producer Bhushan Kumar. Added the source,"They were even contemplating a replacement for Jacqueline." Butfortunately for the actress, Vikram has decided to wait till Salman's schedulewith Jacqueline, that is currently underway, is finished, before shooting withher.
"ButSalman is a moody star and there's a possibility that ‘Roy’ will have to waittill June for Jacqueline. That's cutting it a little too fine since the film'srelease is scheduled for September," points out the source. | |||
