CBI Searches Sooraj Pancholi’s House And Gets Evidence In Jiah Khan Case

It was regarded as a suicide, but her mother Rabiya Khan alleged that Sooraj Pancholi and his family murdered Jiah. The case is being investigated by CBI, and on Wednesday, CBI conducted searches at the residence of Aditya Pancholi (Sooraj’s father). They have got evidence in reference to the case. Spokesperson of CBI, Kanchan Prasad, from New Delhi said, “Searches have been conducted by a CBI team from Mumbai.” The Bombay High Court has handed the case to CBI, which directed it to determine whether it was a suicidal or homicidal death. “If it is concluded that it is a homicide, we will then probe further to identify the culprit,” Kanchan added. According to the grapevine, the CBI has found evidence at Aditya Pancholi's house. The said evidence is in custody and categorized as important evidence in the case. One of the officials from the CBI said that they are currently investigating the same. Elaborating on the evidence, the CBI member said that it includes different forms of interaction between Jiah and Sooraj.
