Saturday, 16th May 2015, 2:47 PM IST Anushka Sharma, who has worked with top filmmakers like Aditya Chopra, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, etc, doesn’t believe in running after films. The actress said, “I don’t believe in going after films and I don’t see it happening any other way. It’s not because I am snobbish. I truly believe that a director knows whom he/ she wants in his film and in a particular role. No amount of cajoling will win the filmmaker over to sign up someone else. And if a director can be won over with a few phone calls, then I don’t want to work with such filmmakers anyway.” Talking about, landing up a role in ‘Bombay Velvet’, Anushka added, “For instance, how Anurag came to me and gave me the script, and said, ‘I don’t have an actor yet and I don’t know when I will be making this film. But when I am making this film, I am making it with you’.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
