Monday, 18th May 2015, 2:45 PM IST Aditya Chopra’s ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ is still running in Mumbai's Maratha Mandir theatre. The film is said to be the best romantic flick ever made in Bollywood. A few final year students from the London Film School are making a documentary on the film. Nathasha Rajthore, along with over 20 crew members, has already started shooting for the documentary in the Swiss Alps. The film will be divided into three sections - London, Switzerland and India. The team will be revisiting all the locations where the film was shot. Speaking from Switzerland, Nathasha said that the thought is to not make a fan-film but to study what is it about ‘DDLJ’ that makes people fall in love with the two characters Raj and Simran, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol respectively. She said, "Just two days ago, we visited the hotel where SRK, Kajol and Aditya Chopra stayed and interviewed the staff there who still have plenty of teary-eyed memories from the late 90s. We're interviewing the mayor of the town where it was shot and have discovered that a train is named after Yash Chopra. It is a nostalgic trip." The makers need about 33,000 pounds to complete the documentary. They have started an online campaign to raise funds from which they are getting a good response. "We have people of over eight nationalities in our crew who have all seen the film," she said. Nathasha also added that a scholarship programme will be started by the London Film School for Indian students from the income generated from the film.
