Karan Johar And Sanjay Leela Bhansali Bury The Hatchet?

Wednesday, 20th May 2015, 6:21 PM IST We all know that all was not well between Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali when Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone opted to star in the latter’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ instead of Karan’s ‘Shuddhi’. But it looks like both the filmmakers have forgotten the past and have moved on. Sanjay and Karan posed together for a picture at Deepika’s party. The picture was shared by Karan on a social networking website. Talking about Ranveer and Deepika opting for SLB’s flick, Karan had earlier stated, "I have an indifferent relationship with Sanjay Bhansali. It used to be love and appreciation, but over a period of time, I think his expectation of me was not something that I was matching up to. Today I just think he's gone into a space of negativity and darkness. I am sorry, but I have no space....because I am all about light and sunshine. He is according to me, an immensely talented man. But I just don't want to deal with him anymore. It is as simple as that." To which SLB had replied, "I've never understood why someone, who you think is a friend, would publicly talk ill about you. Karan and I have had great moments together. I had spoken to Ranveer and Deepika about ‘Bajirao Mastani’ during the post-production of ‘Ram-Leela’. As far as I knew, Hrithik (Roshan) and Kareena (Kapoor) were doing ‘Shuddhi’. I would never steal a friend's actors. I had my cast in place, so I didn't need anybody's permission. I've never had an ambition to become the most powerful man in the industry. I'm in the happiest phase of my life. I'm working more than 12 hours a day. ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is looking exciting. I don't understand why anyone would say I've gone into darkness."
