Thursday, 16th April 2015, 2:33 PM IST Few days ago, Kangana Ranaut had confirmed that she will be portraying the role of legendary actress Meena Kumari on screen in the biopic helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. But, the stepson of Kumari, Tajdar Amrohi, has objected the project as he himself is making a biopic on the legendary actress. Amrohi said, "The first rights rest with the family and my film has gone on floors. Who will know chhoti ammi better than us and that she and Kamal Amrohi were never divorced? We have lived with her and there are many incidents and anecdotes that only we can better incorporate in the film being directed by Shashilal Nair." He further said that Kangana is not fit for the role. "She is anything but Meena Kumari. My chhoti ammi was tradition personified and a strong personality. Kangana is completely opposite of her and does not suit the role," he said. There were reports that Manisha Koirala was to play Meena Kumari in Nair’s flick, but Tajdar denied the reports. "We have three Meena Kumaris as the biopic depicts three stages of her life. I cannot reveal any names now, except the fact that one of them is from the industry. You will also see two Kamal Amrohis." The movie has been titled as 'Meenabakamaal' and will hit the screens next year. "It means Meena the extra ordinary, and is also a portmanteau of Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi," Amrohi added.
