Thursday, 12th December 02:00 PM IST Rohit Shetty, the director of all 100-crore blockbusters, who recently worked with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Chennai Express’, is now eyeing on Salman Khan. He has joined hands with Karan Johar for a project and it is learnt that Salman Khan is on the top of their list to star in the film. A close source said - “Though Karan Johar had signed Rohit a long time back, they were busy wrapping up their previous commitments. Rohit is now busy writing ‘Singham 2′ and he will also start working on the remake of the Tamil film ‘Soodhu Kavvum’, the rights of which he recently bought. Karan too is working on his next directorial and his TV commitments keep him busy. So the project with Salman will take time to roll”. Though Salman has expressed his desire to work in the project, he is yet to sign on the dotted line. The source further added - “Salman will make the decision soon. He has just wrapped up Sohail’s ‘Jai Ho’ and has moved on to ‘Kick’. As for Rohit’s film, there will be several meetings in the future to discuss other aspects of the project.” If this film happens at the right time, this would be really a union of titans, in terms of their box office influence. | |||
