Tuesday, 15th July 2014, 05:00 PM IST Karan Anshuman, who makes his directorial debut with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s ‘Bangistan’, has apparently roped in Polish stars for the film. Polish actors Cezary Pazura and Tomasz Karolak will be playing pivotal roles in the film.
Pazura is known for his comic timing in films like ‘Boys Don't Cry’ and ‘Psy’ while Karolak is known for his popular films ‘Letters To Santa’ and ‘The Perfect Guy For My Girlfriend’. Karan confirmed the news saying, “Our first schedule begins on July 25 in Krakow and both Cezary and Tomasz will be joining us there. The reason they've been cast is because the story demands characters from that country.”
When quizzed about what if there would be any language barrier, he replied, “Their lines will be mostly in English and their accent will only add to the authenticity. Tomasz is known as the Jim Carrey of Poland. He has a fabulous comic timing.” ‘Bangistan’ sees Riteish and Pulkit as aspiring terrorists with opposite ideologies, who land up in a foreign city with the same mission. Karan added, “We've had workshops with both of them and it's like a parallel film is already shaping up. Moreover, Ram Sampath has come up with some exciting tunes.” |
