Tuesday, 15th July 2014, 06:00 PM IST The second schedule of Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Roy’ was scheduled to begin on August 10, but rumours have it that the actor has just started shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film, ‘Tamasha’, which could delay the schedule. Recently, the location for the second and the final schedules of ‘Roy’ were shifted from South Africa to Malaysia, as director Vikramjit Singh thought that the locales there were better suited for the script. Sources claim that Ranbir has already given bulk dates to Imtiaz and they will finish the first schedule of ‘Tamasha’ in a little over a month’s time; this, in turn, may clash with his dates for ‘Roy’. Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, producers of ‘Roy’, says, “We are starting the film’s next schedule from August 10 and Ranbir will join us from August 25, so there’s no clash.” However, sources says that Ranbir is required to shoot for at least 40-45 days as part of Roy’s second and final schedules. The makers are looking at an early next year release, which is why they apparently want to finish shooting by September and start post production soon after. Another source said, “Ranbir will be back in India in a month, but he will get busy with another project (‘Jagga Jasoos’) and will thus not be able to shoot for ‘Roy’ before the first week of September.”
