Monday, 23rd June 2014, 06:10 PM IST Since producer Bhushan Kumar felt that August 22 was an ill-fated date to release the film ‘Creature 3D’, the release was pushed to September 12. The film is directed by Vikram Bhatt and features Bipasha Basu and Pakistani actor Imran Abbas. This film took quite a long time to make and the release date issue has further delayed proceedings. “Bhushan doesn't want anything to go wrong with a project as ambitious as ‘Creature 3D’. This has also given Vikram extra time to work on the post-production. The film will now open on September 12,” revealed a source. Director Vikram Bhatt said that the delay was due to the ongoing VFX work for the film. “It is a mega budget film for both Bhushan and me. We had to push forward the release by two weeks because Ajay Devgn's ‘Singham Returns’ opens on August 15 and we didn't want to come within a week of its release,” he said. The new release date, however, clashes with Homi Adajania's Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor starrer, ‘Finding Fanny’. Vikram wasn’t too worried about this, saying, “It's an English film, it won't bother us.”
