Friday, 2nd May 2014, 06:15 PM IST Sangeeta Bijlani, who will be making a comeback to the silver screen with a movie directed by Onir titled ‘Shab’, mentions that she wouldn’t mind working with her former boyfriend Salman Khan in the future. Sangeeta was known for her acting in films like ‘Tridev’, ‘Jurm’ and ‘Batwara’ until she left acting in 1997. “I never thought of a comeback and am still not looking for a serious career reboot. There were offers earlier too but I wasn’t ready. It’s all about timing and ‘Shab’ is an exciting project,” Sangeeta says. The film’s director, Onir, stumbled upon the former Miss India at the designer Anita Dongre’s fashion show. This is where Onir made her an offer which she accepted after months of contemplation. Sangeeta plays a high society fashionista in the movie. “Onir was confident that I fit the part and asked me to read it with an open mind. We grew comfortable with each other and I gave him the nod because the role was well-sketched,” she said. “Today the roles are braver and the choices diverse. I’m game for another film if it’s worth my time,” says the actress, who has been spotted often with her ex-flame Salman Khan and his family. Given the closeness she shares with Salman’s younger sister Arpita, it isn’t a huge surprise that she has been seen with the Khan family. However, she mentions “I haven’t discussed ‘Shab’ with Salman but I’m sure he is happy for me as he’s a supportive friend. I wouldn’t mind working with him but the energies have to be right.”
