Monday, 27th Oct 2014,11:56 AM IST Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was seen in a negative role in Salman Khan starrer ‘Kick’, will also be seen sharing screen space with Salman in his next titled ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ (BB). The shooting of ‘BB’ will kick start in November and Nawaz will join the team in January. Talking about Nawaz’s role, a source said, "It's a pivotal role. Kabir was very impressed with Salman and his chemistry in ‘Kick’ and thought he would be ideal for this political drama." Kabir Khan, the director of the film, confirmed the news and said, "I first worked with Nawaz in ‘New York’. This was well before he became a break through acting force. I wanted to do another film with him but there was nothing apt for an actor of his caliber in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ or ‘Phantom’. I've finally found an intriguing part for him in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’." When Kabir was asked if Nawaz once again plays a rival to Salman, he said, "There aren't any good or a bad guys in my film. His character has shades of grey and is someone who challenges Salman but is not a direct adversary." There has been a buzz that the film will showcase the issue of Right-Wing extremists. Talking about it, Kabir said, "I can't talk much on the subject. All I can say at this point is that I'm dealing with a strong contemporary political backdrop. The film will confront all distinct ideologies, as a filmmaker it's important to do so.
