Wednesday, 21st May 2014, 05:50 PM IST The trailer launch of Vidya Balan’s latest detective film ‘Bobby Jasoos’ will be delayed since the makers haven’t been able to decide on a venue for it. The launch was slated for July, but since the makers haven’t decided which city is suitable for its trailer release, it has been delayed. A source says, “We shot a major chunk of the film in Hyderabad and the creative team feels that it would be the perfect place for the trailer launch. In fact, they are too attached to the place and want to have the first event in the city of Nizams.” Dia Mirza, who is one of the producers of the film, also belongs to Hyderabad. Dia is quite keen on having the trailer launch in her home town. “However, the co-production house feels that since Mumbai is synonymous with Bollywood, the makers should unveil the first look here itself. Besides, it would be convenient for them to organise an event here instead of flying to Hyderabad with the entire cast and media persons. Currently, the creative team and production house are conducting meetings to decide the venue so that the trailer launch is not delayed any further,” the source adds. “What Kolkata was to 'Kahaani', Hyderabad is to 'Bobby Jasoos’. So, we are tempted to launch the trailer in Hyderabad,” said a spokesperson from the film. |
