Thursday, 16th Oct 2014, 3:23 PM IST According to sources, the shooting of YRF’s ‘Bank Chor’ was going to take place at Mehboob Studio on Election Day. However, the shooting was stalled as the state government had given orders to not to have any such activities till the voting comes to an end. It is said that the lead actor of the film, Riteish Deshmukh had made internal arrangement for the shoot. But, the studio authorities didn’t allow them to shoot and the shoot was called off. A source said, “The production house was in talks with Mehboob Studio authorities, who turned down their request because if they allowed one shoot, they would have had to accommodate the requests of others, too. The ‘Bank Chor’ unit was informed late on Tuesday night that the election day shoot had been cancelled.” YRF spokesperson denied the reports and said, “Our schedule restarts tomorrow. We had always planned a break for election day and three days prior to that as Riteish was campaigning for his brother (Amit was contesting the poll from Latur). We have already shot for about six days and will dive back into a non-stop start to end schedule in full force from October 16 as planned.” The movie also stars Vivek Oberoi and Rhea Chakraborty.
