Thursday, 16th Oct 2014, 6:14 PM IST Nowadays, in Bollywood, a lot of con films are being made. So, when YRF announced ‘Bank Chor’, many thought that it will also be a con flick. However, Riteish Deshmukh, the lead actor of the film, has said that ‘Bank Chor’ is not a con film, but a fun flick on bank robbery. Riteish said, “‘Bank Chor’ must not be seen as a con film. It is not. This is a film about a bank robbery. It is all about three guys who come to a bank from different walks of life. Everyone is doing it for their own reason. I have taken loan from the bank and I am unable to pay it back. So the best way to do it is to take their money and pay it back to them. Smart plan but when idiots come to rob a bank, everything goes wrong. They have chosen the worst day. Media is there, every cop is there, the CBI gets involved and hell breaks loose absolutely.” When Riteish was asked if he was perfect for the role, he said, , “Since I have signed the film, I feel I am perfect for the role. My character is of a God fearing Maharashtrian guy and there is a lot of Delhi-Mumbai dynamics in the film. I go to rob the bank with two North Indians and even the camaraderie there is fun.” ‘Bank Chor’ also stars Vivek Oberoi and Rhea Chakraborty in the lead roles.
