Ever since Aditya Chopra signed on Shekhar Kapur and decided to make his dream come true, speculation has been rife over who would play the leading man in his pet project "Paani". There was talk that Hrithik Roshan had been approached; then the grapevine said it would probably be Ranbir Kapoor.

Now we hear that Chopra and Kapur have homed in on two names, Ranveer Singh and Sushant Singh Rajput. We’re told that Chopra is very keen that Rajput lands the part although Singh’s name is also in the running.
