Friday, 17th Oct 2014, 6:38 PM IST There is a rule that when a film’s screening is held for the members of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), no one but the members of the board are allowed there. But, going against the rule, CBFC’s regional manager, Raju Vaidya and other members of the Board called their respective families to click pictures with Shahrukh Khan, at a South Mumbai theatre. A source said, “At the censor screening of ‘Happy New Year’ on Tuesday morning, family members of CBFC members were seen getting their pictures clicked with Shahrukh Khan. This is against the rules of the Censor Board as the entire process of certification is confidential. No one except the members are allowed at the censor screening.” Talking about the issue, a board member, Nandini Sardesai said, “The family members met Shahrukh only after the movie was screened. None of them even entered the theatre when the screening was on. The photographs were taken only after the certification was awarded to Farah Khan and Shahrukh. So, no rules were ever flouted.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here – Android:http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
