Wednesday, 25th June 2014, 05:40 PM IST ‘Creature 3D’, which stars Bipasha Basu, was slated to release on August 22, but will hit screens on September 12. This film will mark the debut of Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, who stars opposite Bipasha in the film. Director Vikram Bhatt claims that the postponement is a welcome one as it avoids a clash with the release of 'Singham Returns' as well. "It'sa mega budget film for both Bhushan and me. We had to push forward the release by two weeks because Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Returns’ opens on August 15th and we didn't want to come within a week of its release," the director said. Bhushan Kumar, who is the producer of the film, claims that VFX is the main reason for the delay. "Vikram is working on the post production of the film since there is a lot of VFX work to be done. He has shot it on par with international standards and this will be a treat for the Indian audiences. We have chalked our promotional plans and have taken a mutual decision with our distributors to postpone the release of the film. Now the film hits screens on September 12," Bhushan said. Director Vikram Bhatt also worked with Bipasha in the 2002 film ‘Raaz’ and later returned for ‘Raaz 3’. ‘Creature 3D’ is their third film together.
