Thursday, 26th June 2014, 03:00 PM IST Six years after their film ‘Oye Lucky!Lucky Oye!’ received a National Award, Abhay Deol and Manjot Singh are back again with Sethu Sriram’s directorial debut.
The duo will be starring together in the film titled ‘Snafu’, which is supposedly a thriller. It will go on the floor early in July. Sriram has been the DOP of films like ‘Tere Naam’, ‘Shakthi: ThePower’, ‘Wanted’, ‘Milenge Milenge’ and ‘OMG: Oh My God!’.
Two months ago, Sriram had sent the completed script of his film to Abhay, who is apparently very selective in choosing films. He confirmed the news saying, “A fortnight later I got to meet Abhay. I have seen all his films. I spoke to him at length and clarified whatever doubt she had about the project. He had some valuable inputs, which I in corporated into the script. He has been kept in the loop about each development.” Manjot has also been roped in for the film and we hear, he will be playing a submissive slum dweller. Sriram said, “We had a reading session with both the actors and their tuning is fantastic.” |
