Wednesday, 25th June 2014, 07:30 PM IST Director Sajid Khan’s ‘Humshakals’ may have garnered bad reviews from the critics, but it is evidently doing well at the box office. The audience has taken a liking to this film. The cast celebrated the success of the film last night.Talking about this, Sajid said that the main reason for the party was because the audience accepted the film so well. Sajid spoke about how the shooting was difficult, stating,“You know I have hardly had any sleep in the past couple of weeks, thanks to ‘Humshakals’ release and promotions. But now that it has been liked by the audience, contrary to critic reports, I am looking at taking a 10-daybreak." The director also said that he plans on bringing out a sequel to the film and making it like his ‘Housefull’ franchise. "After the release and downfall of ‘Himmatwala’, ‘Humshakals’ doing well is great news. Now I am looking at the idea of converting it into a franchise much like the ‘Housefull’ series. But the thing is that since ‘Humshakals’ had so many characters, the sequel will have to have even more, so despite wanting to make a film like that first, we will need to think of its execution and feasibility."
