Tuesday, 21st Oct 2014, 2:14 PM IST Farah Khan is surely one of the most multitalented personalities in Bollywood. She is a choreographer, producer, director and an actor. And now she is all set to make her debut as a lyricist in her directorial venture ‘Happy New Year’. Farah has written the lyrics of the song ‘Nonsense Ki Night’. The track was earlier only a music portion on which the actors dance in the film. Talking about the same Farah said, "I was sitting with Vishal-Shekhar for the recording. Somehow the piece wasn't sounding exciting and we had to wrap the recording that night itself because I had to shoot it the following night. Irshad bhai (lyricist Irshad Kamil) was out of town and Vishal suggested we write it." The situation of the track is when the actors dance badly to lose the competition. Farah and Vishal-Shekhar decided to create an entertaining song. And at that time Farah came up with the thought of using English translations of Hindi. The lyrics of the track are, 'Dance not coming, courtyard crooked, Eating cake by being stupid', which in Hindi is 'Naach na aaye, aangan teda' and 'Yeda banke peda khaaye'. "While I told my AD (Assistant director) to give me th eHindi idioms, I had to pick those that would rhyme. Vishal came up with the line, 'I'm feeling alright, 'coz it's nonsense ki night'," Farah said.
