Monday, 28th July 2014, 04:30 PM IST The premiere of Arjun Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Finding Fanny’ is set to be held on August 25 which is 17 days before its release date. This decision to have the premiere of the film earlier was taken after its trailer garnered a positive response. Producer Dinesh Vijan said, "Premiering a film two weeks before its release has never been done before in Bollywood, but we are willing to stick our necks out. We want opinion makers and regular movie goers to share their views. Hope this strategy generates an actively interested forum for ‘Finding Fanny’." Chief marketing officer of Fox Star Studios, Shikha Kapur, adds, "A story this strong deserves a unique marketing approach. So, we are inverting the normal course of promotional campaigns and will commence ours with the premiere of the film." The film is directed by Homi Adajania and stars Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia. Produced by Maddock Films and Fox Star Studios, ‘Finding Fanny’ is set to be released on September 12.
